Calling this computer a notebook is a huge understatement, it’s called the Alienware M17 and its amazing. I mean would they call it an “Extreme gaming notebook” if it wasn’t amazing? I like to call it a “Portable desktop” cause really as gizmodo would say it’s “barely portable”. It’s a 17-inch 10 pound notebook, I would love to see you lug that around campus.

Instead of the traditional Nvidia SLI graphics card Alienware has stuffed an insane ATI dual Radeon HD 3870 with CrossFireX into it. With it the threw in an equally insane Intel Core2 Quad processor and 4 gigs of ram. Let’s just say the starting money is equally amazing at a starting price of $1,399. BUT if you want the insane setup that deserves a Bugatti badge on it your gonna need to dish out a serious $4,199.

So start savin up.

Tops, you know what I’m talking about, those things that spin for a couple of seconds then fall over. Its like having cops break up an awesome fight. Well if you just don’t want the fun to stop then boy are you gonna be happy. LG’s Lotus has the strong and masculine look. It almost looks like it will kick your ass. Maybe it’s because of the the shape, or color. Either anyway it was designed by Christian Siriano, a fasion designer that loves LG Electronics. Not only is it sexy its powerfull, with 12GB of storage through microSD, and a 2mp camer that recoreds video you have to love it.

It’s going to launch as a sprint exclusive some time this October, so if your thinking about jumping ship from your provider now hold on a bit and get this when it comes out.

When I first saw these things it sorta reminded me of Tamagotchi, the huge hit with all the kids in the late 90’s. Remember… you had to feed them and make sure they stayed healthy, well now your the pet and it’s called FitBit, so it might not be as fun.

The FitBit is a small clip-on device with a built-in motion sensor that acts as a pedometer, it tracks exercise intensity, sleep quality, calories burned and distance traveled.  It then sends all that info to the Internet via Wi-Fi, where you can compare your stats with other fit bit users and see how your doing.

The FitBit will be sold for $99 this winter.

Just came acrross this awesome USB hub and I thought it was awesome. I remember when my dads glove box was full of these things now they do this. They actually have to warn that its not a real cassette and  that it will ruin but the player and the hub if you try to play it.

Well, I saw an ad on yahoo yesterday of HP’s (Hewlett Packard) newest computer, It actually gave me a tingly feeling deep down like little puppies.  Its their HP TouchSmart PC, and I think one word can explain it perfectly and that’s Amazing.

I decided to do abit of research on it and I’m now saving up to get one of my own. You can say its all a matter of opinion here cause some may just hate the idea of a powerful touch screen PC, who would? I haven’t a clue, maybe a Mac fan? Anyway, theirs gonna be 4 different models, 1of them (the IQ816) is only available for preorder as of now but its worth the wait as its going to have a Blue-ray player and HP’s “pocket media.”

They all have the sleek design and either a 22″ or 25.5″ diagonal hi-def wide-screen. They work have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (from the 2GHz to the 2.16GHz depending on the model) and work on Windows Vista with Service Pack 1. They have the large hard drives to match the awesomeness, the hard drives range from a 320 GB at 7200 rpm all the way to a 500 GB at 7200 rpm depending on the model and they all have 4GB of system memory.

As for the graphics card you can choose from the Integrated graphics on the lower end models or spend some more and go for the one that has the NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS HDwith 256MB of dedicated memory. Also just like all those other computers you get a ton of preloaded programs some useful others not so much.

You can actually mount three of the models to the wall but that doesn’t really make too much sense unless you want to use it as a tv then take it off to use the touchscreen. Some other cool things would have to be the colored (switches with a touch of a button) ambient light and the wireless peripherals. Ohh, for all you “Green People” this thing is extremely energy efficient.

Im gonna hold out and get the model to be released in the next month or so and spend the extra money for the Blue-ray player.
